These terms govern your use of davoraacademy.com and the services offered by Davora Academy ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that are used to abuse the site or other users.

2. Courses and learning content

Course videos, notes and downloadable resources are provided for your personal learning. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or publicly upload them without our written permission. Course content may be updated, reorganised or removed at any time.

3. Tutoring, projects and documentation services

We provide explanations, worked solutions, project support, report drafting and software training. The scope, price and delivery date of each piece of work are agreed with you before work starts, by email or WhatsApp. Work delivered is a learning and reference aid. You remain responsible for how you use it and for following the academic integrity rules of your own institution.

4. Payments and refunds

Fees are agreed per engagement before work begins. If we cannot deliver what was agreed, we will work with you to correct it or refund the unfinished part. Please contact us promptly if there is a problem with delivered work.

5. Intellectual property

The Davora Academy name, logo, site design and original course materials belong to us or our instructors. Your own assignments, data and source material remain yours.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the site.
• Do not post unlawful, abusive or misleading comments.
• Do not share your account with other people.

7. Comments

You are responsible for comments you post. We may remove comments that break these terms. Comments appear with the name on your account.

8. Disclaimer and liability

We take care to make our content and work accurate, but we provide the site and services "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or from decisions made using our materials.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Davora Academy collects through davoraacademy.com, why we collect it and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your name and email address, and your password in hashed form.
• If you sign in with Google: the name and email address Google shares with us.
• Learning activity: courses you enroll in and videos you start.
• Comments you post on lessons.
• Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.

2. How we use it

We use your data to run your account, show your enrolled courses, let you comment, protect the site from abuse, and reply to your messages. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Service providers

Account data, course data and uploaded files are stored with Supabase, our hosting and database provider. Course videos are embedded from YouTube, and Google may set cookies or collect data when a video plays. If you use Google sign in, Google processes that login under its own policy.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers.

5. Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and related data at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 of Uganda you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Security

We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect your data. No online service is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

The site is intended for students and professionals. If you are under 18, please use it with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
